  • Everyone wants to know how to be one, what it's like to be one, or how to hire one. It all makes sense. In the past, it was customary to go to work in an office or a factory and make a normal salary that would enable you to live in relative comfort. These days, however, more and more people are finding that their passions lie outside of the traditional workplace.
  • This journey will reveal to them the path they were initially born to take but managed to lose along the way caused by a distortion in judgment influenced by family and friends, organizations and society or even by their ego and emotions. It's a journey that has only one direction, that is always forward towards a life of truth, respect, serenity, joy, and contentment.
  • The purpose of this study is to examine how coaching empowers women especially those with family medical cases.
  • In this study, I address the importance of enabling the partner as a catalyst in the relationship and how coaching is an enabler to cultivate a balanced partner who is a contributor in building a happy and an ever-growing relationship by working on self-development and goal-focused life plan. I also study how coaching helps the partner find the way to live better the relationship and move it from good to better and from better to best.
  • There are many different interpretations of the term "coaching," for this study, I will focus more specifically on the concept of coaching for performance and wellbeing or "life coaching." • Coaching in the workplace is a topic that is attracting the interest of many companies as a tool that could be added to their strategic initiatives aimed at responding to the challenges in their environment. The business environment of today is marked by accelerated technological advancement,  the rise of social media which is challenging the traditional communication patterns, as well as the perspectives and expectations of the new generations that are entering the labour market.
  • This report is the outcome of research around best practice and current theory on the subject of coaching in the workplace. The practical application of the overall research is described in a case study around the research for and design of a coaching strategy for an NHS Primary Care Trust in London with a workforce of approximately 3,500 staff across a wide geographical area covering 4 London boroughs.
  • In today’s technology driven world, automation will have a far-reaching impact on the workforce. The benefits of artificial intelligence and automation to users and businesses, and the economic growth they potentially bring through productivity contributions is compelling. However, this may require that millions of people switch occupations or upgrade skills. While embracing these technologies, companies should also address workforce transitions and associated challenges.
  • In the 21st century, the idea of managing has changed; command and control in leadership is no longer the best way to manage people and lead companies and associations. Coaching is becoming a popular way to think about how to manage. The trendy advice is: Don’t be a boss, be a leader! Don’t be a manager, be a coach! The idea of a leader is combined with being a coach. Indeed, collaboration and coaching have proven to be the most effective methods for managers to lead. If a manager seeks real long lasting success, he/she surely wants to behave like a leader, not like a boss. Consequently, developing the ability to coach others is a must. Nowadays, it is an essential skill which is required to be a successful manager in order to accomplish long-term positive results. Nevertheless, what is a manager? Why are managers needed in the first place? What is a coach? What does it mean to be one? And how does it apply in the workplace?
  • These goals seem like easy and convenient answers and solutions to people who do not want to or don't know how to do the inner work of trying to find their deeply held values and aspirations. They then take these solutions and seek careers and jobs that seem to be a good fit.
  • Coaching was where I had been able to safely, without consequence, explore and understand my reality and eventually take steps to fundamentally change my life for the better. As part of this change I had identified career aspirations and the need to find a new work role that fitted with my values. As a result, my professional career took an interesting turn, which resulted in me gaining a leadership post with the responsibility of developing the use of coaching in the clinical field of adult mental health care.
  • This transformation cannot happen without the creation of a coaching culture, a culture that fosters leadership, innovation, curiosity and inspiration. As organizations are now recognizing the numerous benefits of coaching, workplace coaching has grown substantially, and plenty of organizations are working actively on creating a culture of coaching, where coaching is used as means of communication, management and influencing others.
  • As social beings, we communicate at any moment of our existence with both verbal and non-verbal cues. Each piece of communication (coming in and going out) passes through our internal “software”, our mind. The simplest communication process is illustrated as linear and goes through 4 key stages: coding – sending – receiving – decoding. However, it’s not at all that simple. There are so many variables that influence the smooth information processing between two subjects (Smith, 2007).
  • During my research I was glad to know that Coaching is the second fastest business to grow worldwide, some studies showed how this business blossomed during the Covid-19 confinement and how much it is essential to highlight the well-being of people when living on their own, and cannot interact physically with anyone for a long period of time, the coaching processes were adapted to the situation and most of the coaching sessions are currently conducted via E- software’s and applications.
  • “The coaching profession is experiencing dynamic growth and change,” they say, which is what we are already witnessing through all media tools available. Steve Chandler have well described the role of coaching in his book “The life coaching connection: How Coaching changes lives”.

  • While ‘home schooling’ for many students (and parents) has become the norm for most of the Spring 2021 term, there will be a tangible effect on the learning disruption and a widening of the gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers as identified by the National Foundation for Educational Research. Moreover, the effects of cancelling national exams for two consecutive years has yet to be determined, both in the academic attainments and, perhaps more importantly, the psychological aspect of learning to prepare for major and potentially life changing events.
  • Conflicts can arise in any area of life holding interpersonal relationships, from professional relationships to businesses partnerships to personal relationships. Dealing with these conflicts should be done in the most effective way possible, they should always be handled in a constructive manner, with a determination to solve the issues hanging, a positive vibe, an open communication and a mutual respect and acceptance of diversity in opinion and point of views.

  • ‘Education’s moral imperative is about the whole world developing’ (Fullan, 2011). However, working in schools is not easy; it is challenging. Schools are ‘complex and unpredictable’ (Hoy and Miskel, 2008). The knowledge explosion in the 21st century has added to the challenges. So, what can be done to deal with the complexity of the schools and with the challenges? Coaching teachers and school leaders is the answer. School coaching will empower teachers and school leaders in order to be able to deal with the complexity of schools.
  • Starting a small business is the best way to gain freedom. Although this statement is disputable, it has sense. The journey to a small business is one full of adventures, risks, challenges and threats. It is a journey that requires identifying, evaluating, seizing an opportunity and buying together the resources - all of which would be derived from scratch.
  • The history of coaching is in fact closely related to the history of humanity. It is linked to our evolution from the primitive hominids towards the beautiful beings that we are right now, with huge potential that can be unleashed and enriched through coaching.
  • An interesting aspect of to do lists, especially more common for women, they believe they have to be perfect mothers, wives, business ladies, friends, daughters, to look perfect every moment of the day, to be high class chefs in the kitchen, and many other things. In the world of digitalization, where social media is playing a big role in our lives, the desire to hunt for perfectionism, to procrastinate and after getting into a depression is even more frequent than ever. That’s why we can observe different cases of procrastination, from lighter version to more serious ones for the health of the person and society in general.
  • In this suggested topic we will explore what are the key skills that are necessary for some one to practice coaching successfully. This is a deceptively simple undertaking, but I will take up the gauntlet, as I always had a personal interest for the deeper side of human development. And lo and behold, the challenges have already begun: Is it the deeper side, or is it the higher side of human development? Are those indeed opposites? Traditionally, psychologically oriented people would use the word “deeper” to denote added value, while the spiritually inclined would use the word “higher”. However, let’s bridge the gap by using the word evolved, as there is no spatiality in matters of mind and soul.
  • In this assignment I will discuss the key coaching skills needed by a coach. I will cover the areas of giving feedback, making suggestions, giving advice, empathy, listening skills and communications skills. I will also discuss how to make lasting change in clients’ lives, raising awareness, common pitfalls a coach faces, levels of listening, intuition and what part it plays, as well as examples of dialogue to support these. I will show how these key skills can affect and the client, the coach-client relationship as well as influence the effectiveness of the coaching session.
  • The next level is how we actually understand the values to be, from (a) an academic, formal learning point of view, to (b) how we then embody this understanding whilst interpreting them within our roles and socio-cultural influences. You can see how this can easily get complicated.
  • Focused clarity allows for stronger foundations for creating conducive environments for those we lead, to step in, contribute and flourish at higher levels. With this, it allows the leaders to look up from the everyday grind of work, and have more time to make sure everyone's needs from your staff to your customers, are taken care of. This is the role of the leader, to protect the vision.
