Throughout my career in education, I have always looked for ways in which the challenge faced by teachers and school leaders can be approached. I have always reflected on my practice and sought ways to improve my performance. Choosing coaching as an approach to deal
with these challenges is mainly due to the fact that after I started working on my Practitioner Coaching Diploma, I realized that coaching has a lot to offer to education.
Having worked in schools for twenty years, as a teacher as well as an academic supervisor, made me familiar with the challenges that face teachers and school leaders. So this for me, is a first step towards liaising between coaching and education.
